Rounds, calls, payouts and how settlement works
Rounds
Rounds run on the clock in three lengths. A 5-minute round accepts calls for its first 3 minutes, a 15-minute round for 10 minutes and a 1-hour round for 40 minutes; after that the round is locked until it closes. The opening price is the feed price when the round starts. The closing price is the median of the last 30 seconds of ticks before the round ends, and each tick is itself the median of several exchange feeds with outliers more than 2% away dropped. If the feed is unavailable at close, the round is cancelled and every stake is refunded.
Making a call
One call per player per round, UP or DOWN. Stakes use your funded real trading balance. Winners share the opposing pool in proportion to stake, after the round fee. Demo mode, when enabled, uses a separate non-withdrawable balance and separate pools; support handles refills.
Payouts
If the close is above the open, UP wins; below, DOWN wins; equal, everyone is refunded. When both sides have calls the round is pari-mutuel: winners get their stake back plus a share of the losing pool after a 5% fee, split in proportion to winning stakes. The multiplier shown before you call is an estimate from the pools at that moment; the final figure is fixed at lock.
One-sided rounds refund every stake, regardless of price direction. Flat rounds and rounds without reliable recent prices also refund stakes. The house does not guarantee a minimum return.
$ARCT for correct calls
Every qualifying real-mode correct call credits $ARCT to your wallet: 5 per win, plus 1 per dollar of profit, plus a streak bonus of 2 per consecutive win (capped at 20). A daily cap of 2,000 $ARCT per player applies across all sources.
Worked example
You stake $50 on UP. If nobody takes DOWN, your $50 is refunded. If both sides participate and UP wins, you receive your stake plus your proportional share of the losing pool after the fee.
